As the Africa Platform, we have been actively working for many years in different regions of Africa on access to clean water, the most basic need of humanity. Many communities in Africa still have to walk kilometers to access drinking water. This water, often obtained from polluted streams and ponds, poses serious health risks, especially for children, women, and the elderly.
Therefore, as the Africa Platform, we continue our work on water well construction, water well drilling projects, and fountain construction in areas where they are needed in Africa. Every water well drilled is not only an infrastructure investment but also a permanent solution in terms of health, education, and economic development.
How Does the Water Well Construction Process Proceed?
Before each project, we conduct a detailed needs analysis. Together with our local teams, we meticulously evaluate criteria such as:

How many people the well will serve.
Whether a hand-pumped or deep-drilled well will be constructed.
While hand-pumped systems are sufficient in some areas, we construct water wells using drilling systems in areas with deeper water sources. Longevity, construction with durable materials, and ease of maintenance are among our top priorities.
