On the first evening of Ramadan, we experienced the spiritual peace and excitement of setting up an iftar table in Africa. As Africa Platform, we carefully organized our first iftar program in Africa and gathered with families in need. The mercy and spirit of sharing that define Ramadan united with the prayers of hundreds of people at the iftar tables established in Africa.
On this special evening, we shared not only food but also hope, solidarity, and brotherhood. Ramadan is not only about relieving hunger but also about nourishing hearts. Providing iftar in Africa means bringing a smile to a child, peace to a mother, and joy to an orphan. Every table set reflects the unifying power of Ramadan.
Throughout the first day of Ramadan, families in different regions gathered to break their fast together. Clean and dignified environments were prepared, and special meals were arranged for children and families. Iftar assistance and food assistance during Ramadan represent more than a single meal—they are the beginning of lasting goodness.
